A combination of exchangeable lenses with compactfull-frame cameras, like the Sigma FP, is increasingly used as a Director's viewfinder with the additional possibility of making photos or videos.
But unfortunately compact cameras with heavy lenses leave a lot to ask for from an ergonomics point of view.
