Vocas IBC 2018 Newsletter (LPL Adapters)

Vocas latest development, a completely new range of LPL adapters, will be shown for the first time! You can try it yourself! Other new items at the Vocas booth are a flexible camera rig FCR-15, a camera adapter plate for the Sony PXW-FS5 / FS5 II in combination with a Metabones support and a Director's monitor cage.

LPL adapters

Arri LPL mount has been introduced to the market. Some people say it will be the standard in the nearby future, others are more skeptical. Regardless there are LPL lenses and LPL camera mounts available in the market, additionally there are a lot of PL lenses and Sony E-mount cameras in the market.

Vocas will solve the most connection problems for you by introducing new adapters!

Sony E-mount to LPL adapter

Special adapter to mount the new LPL lenses into the E-mount of Sony cameras. Sony E-mount to LPL adapter including 15 mm support.

A 15 mm support for LPL adapters for top rails will also be available.

Arri LPL to PL adapter

This new adapter makes it possible to mount PL lenses to the new Arri LPL camera lens mounts.

LPL close focus adapter 20 mm

When using this adapter on a LPL mount a macro function will be added to the lens. With the Close Focus Adapter you will extend the flange distance between lens and camera. The increase in distance is 20 mm for this adapter. When using LPL lenses with this adapter you will get a very small depth of field, like with macro lenses.

The next few days Vocas crew members are based in Amsterdam at IBC 2018 booth 12.D55! Very near to the Vocas headoffice which is located in Hilversum. Vocas accessories are developed, made and sold in Hilversum; “Made in Holland”.
