The Vocas EL-40 Eyepiece Loupe for Sony FX6 Kit provides a professional monitoring solution for cinematographers. By combining the EL-40 Base Unit with a dedicated FX6 Attachment, this kit transforms the camera's LCD into a high-performance viewfinder. It offers a magnified, sun-shielded view that ensures critical focus and exposure are visible even in harsh outdoor lighting.
Precision Optics and Ergonomics
The loupe features a tool-free mounting system that attaches directly to the Sony FX6 monitor. A distinctive red focus ring allows for rapid diopter adjustment to suit individual eyesight. For moments requiring direct touchscreen interaction, the clever flip-up design enables the loupe to be moved out of the way in a single motion without detaching the unit.
Essential Support and Accessories
To ensure stability, this kit is designed to work alongside Vocas FX6 screen support brackets (models 0700-0200, 0700-0205, or 0700-0210). These brackets provide the necessary friction to support the loupe's weight and prevent horizontal movement. The kit includes an M52 +1 close-up filter, with optional +2 and +3 filters available for users requiring an extended focus range.
The EL-40 Eyepiece Loupe has been designed with carefully selected optics to minimize the risk of light concentration. However, when the loupe is not in use or the eye is not positioned against the eyecup, direct sunlight entering the loupe may act as a magnifying lens and cause damage to the camera's LCD screen.
Please ensure the loupe is folded away or the camera is shielded from direct sunlight whenever your eye is not in contact with the eyecup.
